Blossom Time, Finally

It's later than normal but the last week has seen all the spring blossoms popping open and it is a delight to see after the winter we have had. This small Magnolia is always one of the first in the neighbourhood to bloom and it was again this year!

I got back in Connecticut last night and spent the day driving around admiring the flowering shrubs and new leaves. Spring has sprung.

My daughter was telling me about the sudden Canadian Spring. She's off to camp again soon and really looking forward to being a Canadian for the summer.
